Since then, Drive Logistics has been honored as one of the fastest growing companies in northeast Florida by the Jacksonville Business Journal in consecutive years (2020, 2021).
A proud Jacksonville native, Michael is a graduate of Episcopal High School, and is a member of various professional educational schools and the Jacksonville Rotary Club.
Despite the challenging business environment of 2020, Drive Logistics was able to expand. Surpassing every benchmark the company set in terms of growth for 2020, Drive is focused on hiring, adapting and expanding. With a professional legacy that continues to grow on the First Coast, Michael has a track record of success dating back to the early 2000’s. Prior to founding Drive Logistics, Michael served as President of The Grimes Companies - a regional operation that handles warehousing, packaging, staffing and trucking services.
Prior to joining to Grimes, Michael served as President for North Florida Glass Industries where he exponentially increased sales volumes prior to selling his interest in the business.
With two decades of logistics experience, Michael’s expertise includes organizational development, turn-around, purchasing, business acquisition, contract negotiation, management team building, marketing, business development and strategic development.
