History of Drive Logistics

Drive Logistics was built from the ground up. Since the inception of Drive in 2004, Drive has grown from a small fleet of 3 trucks to its current fleet size of approximately 130. The business was started by a Windsor entrepreneur, Clive Tregaskiss, who had already achieved business success in manufacturing. During its 45 years, the manufacturing business became known for its quality products & services, its friendly, collaborative work environment, its financial success and its eagerness to give back to the community. The business was recognized by its customers through repeat and expanding sales, by its peers through awards such as being named one of "Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies" and by the community for its philanthropy.

In 2004, utilizing the professionally recognized management tools, the corporate culture, and the leadership developed at the manufacturing company, Clive ventured into the industry of Trucking. Although completely different from manufacturing, Clive believed the management tools, corporate culture and leadership that proved successful in manufacturing could be applied to any industry. Since there was no pre-existing business, from day one, Drive's management was able to leverage their experience in other industries combined with industry experts to implement a robust business plan focused on the Customer and its team members.
