C-TPAT Certificate

Is a voluntary government-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen and improve overall international supply chain and USA border security. C-TPAT recognizes that USA Customs and Border Protection (CBP) can provide the highest level of cargo security only through close cooperation with the ultimate owners of the international supply chain such as importers, carriers, consolidators, licensed customs brokers, and manufacturers.

FAST (Free and Secure Trade)

FAST Certificate

FAST is a joint initiative between the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection that enhances border and trade chain security while making cross-border commercial shipments simpler and subject to fewer delays. It is a voluntary program that enables the CBSA to work closely with the private sector to enhance border security, combat organized crime and terrorism, and prevent contraband smuggling.

PIP (Partners in Protection)

PIP Certificate

PIP is designed to enlist the co-operation of private industry in efforts to enhance border security, combat organized crime and terrorism, increase awareness of customs compliance issues, and help detect and prevent contraband smuggling.

An article from the Associated Press published December 11, 2011 demonstrates how the two countries are intertwined and the respect we have for each other;

U.S. and Canadian military veterans will be honored with an exchange of wreaths at the Ambassador Bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor, Ontario.

The Michigan wing of the Civil Air Patrol and the Royal Canadian Air Cadets from Windsor will hold the ceremony at noon Sunday for the second straight year.

Traffic will stop on the bridge while the national anthems of the two countries are sung. Officials will place wreaths honoring military veterans from the two countries and then exchange wreaths to honor each other's war dead.

The ceremony is part of an effort by the non-profit group Wreaths Across America to honor the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces by laying more than 200,000 wreaths each year at veterans' gravesites.
